Sorry, Skinnies, But Arket's Cult Baggy Jeans Are All I Want to Wear Right Now
The pursuit of an excellent pair of jeans is not without its challenges. Always demanding a thorough try-on session, it can be difficult to find a pair that delivers on comfort, style, affordability and fit. And the never-ending process is made all the more difficult with so many denim trends to choose from. Whilst trending shapes such as puddle pants and straight-leg jeans both have their merit, this season I'm picking up my search for the perfect pair of baggy, low-rise jeans. If the '00s resurgence hasn't already reached you via kitten heels or ballet flats, then these perfectly baggy and ultra-comfortable jeans might be your bait.
For their very cool and very 2024 silhouette, baggy, low-rise jeans are the outfit-elevating solution to your winterwear styling dilemmas. And whilst so many brands offer compelling iterations, I keep coming back to Arket's Cloud style. The high-street jeans frequently whispered about in fashion circles, the Cloud jeans marry comfort with style and have worked their way up to the top of my wish list.

Available in eight washes, the baggy style offers an oversized fit, so consider sizing down once or twice for a neater finish. Coming in at £97, the soon-to-be cult jeans are a wardrobe investment that will continue to get better with age. Falling to hip height with a spacious feel and soft touch, the baggy, low-rise jeans are a comfortable alternative to the tighter, high-waisted styles we've seen for a good few seasons now.
